About Captain Hunter
Captain Hunter Brasington grew up in Gainesville, FL right in the heart of the state. From a very young age he spent his free time exploring both coasts with his father. Together they enjoyed everything the Florida outdoors has to offer.
At 15, Hunter was introduced to fly fishing and it became the catalyst for who he is today. This obsession coupled with years of inshore fishing knowledge fueled him to begin guiding fly and light tackle fishing charters after graduating high school.
Hunter attended the University of Florida, where he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, all while continuing to guide and fish tournaments throughout the state.
